First workday at my internship. Woot. 

Well, okay. Transportation was rough -.- Since I don’t have the nerve/courage to drive myself for 1 hour+ at 6 something in the morning, I’m pretty much forced to take the BART and bus to get through to my workplace. It’s not like I can sleep in the ride since I have to transfer trains in the middle too -.- Well, it’s not horrible since I’m a pretty light sleeper anyways, so just one irregular movement wakes me up XD 

My manager’s pretty nice. She’s so young ><! But I swear, she’s like…the little twin sister of Jayma Mays (she plays Ms. Emma Pillsbury in Glee) XD I almost did a double take when I saw her, but she dressed so nice~~~~ <(>///<)> !! 

Learned a lot today. I definitely don’t think I’ve crammed so much information in my head in one day (And to think that it’s only the first day omg =3=). Although, admittedly, I’m quite intrigued to see how all the “stuff” I learned from school will help me out or not (HEH. Education and tuition. Let’s see what you did for the past….iono, 12+ years?) 

MBC GOOGLE KOREAN MUSIC WAVE CONCERT IN SHORELINE AMPHITHEATRE

The. Best. Night. Ever. In. My. 19. Years. *_* I never believed that there would be the one day that I would be able to see my favorite kpop stars LIVE in front of me, and to think that they were SO CLOSE…*______* I don’t think I’ve ever screamed so much in my life XD (I wanted Infinite to come, but MAYBE ANOTHER YEAR XD) 

Admittedly, at first, I was really hesitant about going. I had heard tons of rumors how the concert was a fake, how MBC was just planning to release a video of clips about the K-pop artists, but thank god my friends and I had actually stayed in line for 7+ hours and FINALLY got into good seats. IT WAS SO WORTH IT. 

The concert opened with KARA…gorgeous girls who danced to their upbeat song of Step….Admittedly, I wasn’t there to see KARA (I feel like they’re overrated especially since only one or two of them can actually sing, and the rest just stand there looking all pretty i.e. Goo Hara), but still I enjoyed watching the show =) Their outfits were really cute <3 <3 

AND THEN MBLAQ. MBLAQ OMG. *_* I FINALLY GOT TO SEE MIR, AND SEUNGHO, AND CHEONDUNG, AND JOON, AND G.O. OMGAHHHHH they looked AMAZINGGGGGGG *_* Tall, dark, and oh-so-handsome omgosh *_* Cheondung’s SO TALL and his shoulders fit into his stage clothes so well….@_@ I SCREAMED so loud when I saw MBLAQ come out, dancing to It’s War, Y, and Oh Yeah. The crowd went nuts when they started Oh Yeah—-everyone was going “OH YEAH OH YEAH OH YEAH YEAH YEAH” *____________________* 

SISTAR came out, and dude. They looked SO NICE *_* I’m a girl, but even my heart skipped a beat when I saw Bora and Hyorin come out. Hyorin is such a great singer, hitting all the high notes dead-on and it looked like she was having the time of her life dancing on stage. *_* Alone was….goodness @_@ They looked so sexy in their outfits, but they were so fun to watch when they started dancing and singing to So Cool XD Ah, they also did Ma Boy (which I was rather surprised because it’s SISTAR19, but it was cute watching them dance ^^ So many ppl in the crowd were doing the body wave LOL) 

f(x)—-DUDE PEOPLE LOVE AMBER. XD I have one of the biggest girl crushes on Amber XD When her face appeared on-screen, the crowd went wild XDDDDD But she’s such a natural on stage and with the crowd hehe ^^ Krystal was a bit awkward in my opinion because I think she was trying so hard to make sure people knew she grew up in America, but AMBER OMG *_* AND VICTORIA SONG. OMG VICTORIA SONG *_* <3 <3 <3 SHE WAS GORGEOUS. And yes, Luna, man that girl can SIIINNNGGGGGGGGG—she hit all the high notes in Danger, Hot Summer, and NU ABO. Sulli is so tall XD She like towered over everyone HAHA

AND THEN B2ST. OMGAH B2ST. I wasn’t the biggest fan of B2ST before, but omg when they came out, they made plain walking look sexy XD Yoseob did such a great job getting the crowd up in Shock and my gosh their suits and outfits…*_* <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 My friend next to me absolutely died when they did Fiction XD AND BEAUTIFUL. OMG <(>/////<)> THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE HAVING SO MUCH FUN XD I couldn’t tell who it was, but someone from B2ST threw down a towel into the crowd and you could just see girls scrambling in the crowd to catch it XD 

SNSD then came out with The Boys…..ehhh I’m not the biggest SNSD fan (I’m not an anti, but I just can’t really get into SNSD) but admittedly, Taeyeon and Seohyun did a great job in hitting the high notes live =) Seohyun actually had a solo and it was cute watching her play the guitar XD ^^;;; They also performed Mr. Taxi and Gee ^^;;; Only 7 of the girls were there (Yoona and Yuri were gone to film their drama) and yes, they’re all gorgeous girls….but I did feel a bit annoyed at Jessica when she stated that SNSD was “hosting” the event >____> Yes, Jessica and Taeyeon were the MCs, but ehh….it felt a bit awkward imo >_> 

AND THEN DA WONDER GIRLS. YUBIN WAS SO HOT OMG XD I LOVE HER HAHAHAHA. Sunye did a solo dedicated to her father (it was so sweet and her  voice was amaziinnngggggg), BUT I LOVED BE MY BABY. They had such cute outfits, and everyone of course knew the words to Tell Me and Nobody HEHE Yenny had great English, and Yubin omgah XD when she said “Are you ready to dance?” and the crowd goes LAWEGHAOWEIFNLJNFAOLINWAEF ^^;;; It was cute watching the entire crowd go “OMONA” during Tell Me HAHA. 

SUPER JUNIOR FINALLY. OMG *_* I probably screamed THE LOUDEST when I saw Super Junior come out XD (I actually was so tired after the first 50 minutes of the concert LOL I had to give a lower scream for the groups that I liked but wasn’t fanatical over in order to give the loud gorilla fangirl scream for the groups I was totally into XD) THEY WERE ACTUALLY IN THE CROWD FOR SUPERMAN *__________* SUPER JUNIOR, THE LAST MAN STANDING >:D The moment I saw Donghae, I like just…went blank BECAUSE HE WAS SO EFFING GORGEOUS *_* Leeteuk did such a great job talking, AND THAT MAN DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HE IS 29 (IT’S LIKE HE STOPPED AGING -.-)….but Sungmin omgsh >< he looked SO HAPPY on stage ^^;;; And obviously Shindong—the great dancer XD Yesung was a phenomenal singer, hitting ALL the high notes for Mr. Simple and Sorry Sorry and of course, Kyuhyun’s warm voice stands out so much when he’s singing XD Ryeowook, my gosh, you perfect singer XD Eunhyuk, obviously, the dance-machine that he is, he NAILED Mr. Simple’s break dance *_* They definitely DESERVED being one of the last to perform BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPER JUNIOR. 

Last to perform: DBSK. My gosh, they brought SO MUCH energy to the stage, and *_* CHANGMIN IS SO TALL OMG BUT HE LOOKED SO AMAZING. When they did Keep Your Head Down, it was like “HOW DO YOU ALL LOOK SO AMAZING EVEN WHEN YOU’RE SWEATING BULLETS UNDER THOSE BRIGHT STROBE LIGHTS”….XD Yunho, of course, the unrivaled dancer XD But the moment they transitioned into The Way You Are…..I couldn’t take it anymore because Changmin was just singing his HEART out, reaching all the high notes (Although I definitely think he was tired because he started cracking a bit BUT HE STILL SOUNDED AMAZING) @_@ Their last performance was Rising Sun which actually made me a bit sad to hear, because Rising sun obviously was performed by the 5-member DBSK @_____@ one girl next to me actually started crying (for joy or morose, I don’t know) but there were moments where you could definitely tell that Changmin was trying to imitate Jaejoong’s or Xiah’s voice @@ BUT THEY STILL DID AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE. 

Then the end of the entire event, everyone gathered together to sing Arirang…as maybe a lot of people saw on Allkpop, Leeteuk got quite a few flames for apparently “stealing” the end spotlight from Jessica/Taeyeon for doing the ending speech -___- Like really people >___________> EVERYONE knows that out of everyone there, Leeteuk is the best MC, perhaps one of the MOST talented MCs actually in Korea because he’s a complete natural at hosting. He’s never awkward when he hosts because he has the experience and the TALENT. MBC even cleared up the entire event, stating that Leeteuk was requested by the director to do so, so heaven’s sake, GIVE THE MAN A BREAK. He wasn’t voted #1 Leader for nothing. >____> 

Other than that, I definitely enjoyed the concert. It was a once-in-a-lifetime chance, and I’m more than glad that I went to wait in line for so many hours XD
